Laurance Labadie was born on July 14, 1898 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. He was an influential figure in the American anarchist movement, following in the footsteps of his father, Joseph Labadie, one of America's most prominent labor organizers and anarchists.
Laurance was well known for his critical analysis of society and his adherence to the principles of individualist anarchism. During his lifetime, Labadie penned numerous essays and pamphlets on the principles and philosophy of anarchism. His work has had a lasting impact on the movement, and he is often cited as an influence by contemporary anarchist thinkers. He passed away on August 22, 1975.
