Joseph Labadie was born on April 18, 1850, in the United States. He was a prominent labor organizer and a prominent figure in the anarchist movement. He was inclined towards individualist anarchism but built a philosophy of his own, known as 'Labadie's anarchism.'
His contributions towards the labor movement in America were significant. He was involved in the founding of several labor unions in the United States. He was also an articulate speaker and writer.
