Severino Di Giovanni

Di Giovanni: The Controversial Anarchist

Severino Di Giovanni was born on the 17th of March, 1901 in Italy. He immigrated to Argentina following the rise of fascism in Europe, where he continued his commitment to the anarchist cause. Di Giovanni became known for his intense style of activism, including bombings and bank robberies, in his quest to destabilize oppressive governmental structures.

Di Giovanni became a prominent figure within the anarchist movement, not only because of his controversial and daring actions, but also through his writings and editing. He edited and published two anarchist papers, 'Culmine' and 'Anarchia', which were influential in promoting anarchist ideas. His writings and actions, though controversial, helped maintain the visibility of anarchist thought during a period of intense repression. He was executed on the 1st of February, 1931 in Argentina.
